First week’s games

The first games of the season are on Tuesday, November 3, and Friday November 6.

Division 3 opens the 26-27 season with a home game against Recreation Plantation. Game time is 9:30 but if you’re new to Hawthorne softball, be aware we often start as soon as all teams and umpires are ready (9:15??).

That game will be followed by an event never before seen at Hawthorne. A Hawthorne versus Hawthorne home game!

We have TWO teams in Division 6 this year. We’re calling them D6A and D6B. Most of the players on D6A are from last season’s Division 5 team and most of the players on D6B are from last season’s single Division 6 team.

This game will kick off as soon as the Division 3 game ends and the field can be prepared. That should be at about 11 AM.

On Friday, Division 3 is away at Continental (10 AM single game), Division 6B is HOME against Holiday Village at 9:30 followed by Division 6A against Del Webb at 11.

Saturday’s originally scheduled Ladyhawks game is cancelled. They will open at Summerglen at 10:30 on Tuesday, November 11.

After sitting out last season due to a shortage of players, they are back IN FORCE with plenty of players. They play their first HOME GAME against Arlington Ridge on Saturday, November 14, starting at 10:30.

As usual at all HOME games the Dugout Cafe will be open.
